The natural foods revolution of the past three decades has changed what we eat, where we shop, how we talk and think about food… and it has also created a second revolution in entrepreneurship, focused on the “triple bottom line.” Boston has long been on the front lines of those battles, with a lively community built around sustainability and food entrepreneurship, and a deep tradition of natural and organic food entrepreneurs like Erewhon and Bread & Circus.

Join us for this unique, informative and tasty event, as we celebrate the launch of Joe Dobrow’s new history of the natural foods movement, Natural Prophets, by staging a food entrepreneurship panel discussion and snack food sampler, with featured guest Trish Karter, founder of Dancing Deer Bakery.  We’ll have FREE samples from some of the area’s other great natural foods companies, too, such as Late July Organics, Quinn Popcorn, Unreal Candy, Equal Exchange, Perfect Fuel Chocolate, CogniTea, and Spindrift Soda — that’s a lot of free food!

Space is limited, so reserve now.  Net proceeds benefit New Entry Sustainable Farming Program.  Co-sponsored by Food Sol, the food business incubator and food literacy program at Babson College, and BostonEco.  Books will be available for purchase and signing after the event.
